I’ve got a real soft spot for the Canadian wilderness.
Wild in the UK and wild in Canada are two very different beasts.
Literally.
When I’m on the bike in the UK, the most dangerous wild animal I may encounter would be a deer jumping across the road. Or maybe an angry sheep. A wild goat at a push.
In Canada, well I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure that if you are really heading out into the wild, bear spray is an essential safety item, and even then, if it’s a hungry grizzly you bump into, then you are in the hands of fate.
Fun fact, my first ever ride on a dirt bike was in the mountains of British Columbia way back in the early 2000’s. Naturally I crashed it in a ditch. Thankfully there were no bears around.
Two things have changed since then.
Firstly, I pay much more attention to wearing the right gear when I’m riding (it turns out you do need more protection than just a helmet).
Secondly, we have just turned on Canada as a shipping destination.
Our Canadian friends have been asking us to ship to this beautiful country for a while now, sorry it’s taken us so long, thank you for being so patient. We are really excited to be able to welcome you into the club.

We ran a test order to Ludo who lives in the Yukon which is, as far as Canada goes, pretty remote. One week after placing his order he sent us this pic...
Good old DHL, but oh my... just look at that view! You are a lucky man Ludo, I hope you have many adventures in your Linesman Jacket.
And that you don't have to use the bear spray.
